My provider does ACMA registration for free. Why pay $99?
Most providers pass through the carrier fees ($25 setup + $1p/m per Sender ID) and help you submit the form. That's a registration workflow, not a managed service. Trusted Sender covers registration, business verification, WhatsApp onboarding, lifecycle management, renewal tracking, regulatory monitoring, and escalation support. When you price those separately, self-service actually costs $133+ p/month, more than Trusted Sender, and with all the work falling on your team.
We're already ACMA-registered. Do we still need Trusted Sender?
Yes. Registration is just the start. Sender IDs and business verifications expire and need renewal. Carrier and ACMA requirements change. WhatsApp has separate onboarding requirements. Trusted Sender manages all of this ongoing, so your communications stay active without your team having to track it all. The bundle also includes a dedicated number and lifecycle management that self-registered customers don't have.
Why would I pay every month? Isn't registration a one-off?

What happens if we're not ACMA-registered?
ACMA enforcement is now live. Australian carriers are stamping SMS messages from Sender IDs not on the ACMA register as unverified. Unregistered messages will not be trusted. This applies to all alphanumeric Sender IDs sent to Australian mobile numbers.
What's a Dedicated Virtual Number and do I need one?
A Dedicated Virtual Number (DVN) is an Australian mobile number assigned exclusively to your account. It lets you register and own a Sender ID, use two-way messaging, and establish a consistent, trusted sender identity. One DVN is included in your Trusted Sender bundle.
