Having come from really big corporations, it's so nice to work for a business where everybody's focused on the customer experience, and business decisions get made quickly with the customer at the forefront.
There's a lot of flexibility here and I'm able to balance my family commitments with my days collaborating with the team in office. Being supported with our flexible work environment puts us in a safe headspace, we're able to work more comfortably and not always stressing the smaller things in life.
I started at Kudosity in an entry-level sales support role, but I very quickly learnt the ins-and-outs of customer support. Because our teams work so closely together, you get to not only experience a whole bunch of job functions but get to understand the business, which then empowers you to progress.
The thing that I enjoy is that the sum is greater than the individual parts. We have different specialisations and different strengths in people; when we work together, we're literally able to do greater things than what we could do individually.
Within my first couple of months in the business, I was already owning major people initiatives and have been given a lot of freedom and trust from leadership to choose how I wanted to go about them.
It’s incredible because our diversity has made the business an extremely vibrant place to work. This has a huge impact on our work and one not often realised immediately.
