Emojis add personality and emotion to the most mundane text messages, and they make them more fun and memorable. Plus, love emojis are some of the most popular emojis in the world.

Keep in mind that as soon as you add an emoji, your SMS campaign switches to support Unicode, which is larger in size. Instead of getting 160 characters per SMS, you now get 70 characters. Your message needs to be brief unless you don’t mind sending an extra message or two for each recipient.
Emoji Keywords
Did you also know that you can create emoji keywords? They function similar to a regular SMS keyword, but they’re much more creative and fun for your customers. For example, your customers can send you a pizza emoji to opt into your SMS list.
