SMS gets the message there.
WhatsApp makes sure it gets acted on.
When customers don't act, operations break. Here's how WhatsApp completes the workflow.
Failed OTP
Every failed OTP is an incomplete transaction
Missed appointment
Every unconfirmed booking is revenue at risk
Unread notification
Every unread notification becomes a support call
Delayed confirmation
Every ignored reminder is a customer you had to chase
Delivery isn't the goal. Completion is.
WhatsApp adds a trusted, verified layer to the workflows your business already depends on. Brands need persistent, high-context conversations, not disconnected chats.

FAQs
WhatsApp Business pricing, how much does WhatsApp Business API cost?
WhatsApp pricing is based on three factors: message category (Utility, Authentication, Marketing, or Service), destination country, and message volume. There are no flat-rate plans and no hidden carrier fees; you pay only for the messages you send.
Service messages, which are replies sent within a 24-hour window after a customer contacts you, are free. Outside that window, all business-initiated messages require a pre-approved template and are charged per conversation.
Kudosity's pricing is quote-based rates vary depending on your workflow, usage volume, and the regions you're sending to. Speak with our team to get a quote tailored to your use case.
Do I need a Meta Business Portfolio to get started?
Yes. Before you can create a WhatsApp Business Account (WABA), your business needs a registered Meta Business Portfolio. The two are linked; your WABA sits inside your Meta Business Portfolio, which is how Meta verifies your business identity and manages your messaging permissions.
If you don't already have one, our team will walk you through the setup. It's a straightforward process, and most businesses complete it before their first Kudosity onboarding call.
Do I need customer opt-in before sending messages on WhatsApp?
Yes. WhatsApp requires explicit opt-in, which can be collected through your website, app, SMS, QR codes or offline forms.
Can I send OTPs, authentication codes, and transactional notifications through Kudosity's WhatsApp API?
Yes. Kudosity's WhatsApp Business API supports all three major Meta message categories; Utility, Authentication, and Marketing. For utility and authentication use cases, this includes billing updates, delivery notifications, payment reminders, system alerts, and one-time passwords. These are the highest-priority workflows for most of our customers, and they're supported from day one. Marketing messages, including promotions and campaign sends, are also supported for opted-in customers.
Can I manage WhatsApp templates inside Kudosity, or do I have to use Meta Business Manager separately?
You can manage everything inside Kudosity. Once you're onboarded, our template management system lets you create, submit, and track templates for Meta approval without having to log into Meta Business Manager separately. It also includes a library of pre-approved Meta templates to help you get started faster.
All outbound messages initiated by your business outside a 24-hour customer service window must use a pre-approved template; this is a Meta requirement, not a Kudosity requirement. Kudosity makes that process as frictionless as possible.
What happens if a customer doesn't have WhatsApp?
The workflow still completes. If a customer isn't on WhatsApp, you can configure automatic SMS fallback; the message routes through SMS networks instead, with no manual intervention required and no failed delivery.
This is why SMS and WhatsApp work together in Kudosity, not against each other. SMS gets the message there.
How long does WhatsApp Business onboarding take; including setup, verification, and template approval?
The process has three stages, each with its own timeline:
WABA setup and Kudosity onboarding take as little as 10 minutes for the account creation itself.
Meta Business verification, typically 1 to 3 business days, once your documentation is submitted.
Template approval, straightforward templates are generally approved within a few hours. More complex templates can take up to 24 hours. Submit templates early and in parallel with verification to avoid delays.
Your total time to first live message is primarily determined by integration size and how quickly Meta processes your verification. Most customers are live within a week of starting the process.
Can I migrate from another WhatsApp provider to Kudosity?
Yes. Migration moves your existing WhatsApp Business Account, including your number, templates, and quality rating, to Kudosity. When done correctly, it's a zero-downtime process.
If you're already using the API elsewhere, WhatsApp runs on the same Kudosity API infrastructure you'll be calling for SMS. For most customers, adding or migrating to Kudosity is a side-step rather than a rebuild. We have code samples, OpenAPI specs, and MCP server tooling to speed up any integration work.
Our team manages migrations on a 1:1 basis. Speak to us before starting.
