How does Email to SMS work?
Email to SMS works by converting an email into a SMS message that’s sent to a recipient's mobile phone. You compose an email, send it to a specific email address provided by the SMS service, and the service then forwards the email as an SMS to the intended phone number.
Can I send SMS messages to multiple recipients at once?
Yes, you can send SMS messages to multiple recipients simultaneously. By including multiple phone numbers in the recipient field or using contact groups, you can reach a larger audience with a single email to SMS message.
Are there any limitations on the length of the SMS message?
A typical SMS message is 160 characters. With concatenation you can join multiple SMS messages together. This uses a few characters per message but means you can send up to 1024 characters. You can check our global delivery list to see where concatenation is available.
