September 30 2024 - Known Pty Limited, trading as Kudosity, a leading player in the messaging technology industry, has announced the appointment of Mitch Powell as director – Asia, effective 26 August 2024. The appointment comes amid the global launch of a unified Kudosity platform, with significant upgrades to its user interface and overall user experience, and will drive the company’s continued expansion and growth in the region.
Mitch brings extensive experience in commercial, sales, technology, and business growth to the company, with a proven track record in the messaging industry across both Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) and Asia. He has held leadership roles at Dialogue, where he played a key role in growing the company’s market presence prior to its acquisition by Sinch. Most recently, Mitch co-founded a startup in the energy technology space, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit and innovative mindset.
Mitch will work closely with Kudosity's chief executive officer, Alex Macpherson, and will oversee both the Burst SMS Wholesale and Kudosity operations in Asia from a Singapore base. Mitch’s appointment and relocation to Singapore from Australia firmly establishes the company’s presence in the Singapore market and is a key milestone in Kudosity’s continued expansion across the Asia region as it strengthens its local team. Kudosity is better positioned to understand and respond to the unique needs of the local market with a senior leader on the ground, ensuring faster decision-making and stronger partnerships. Kudosity will further expand its operations across Asia as its Singapore operations grow.
