How do I know which plan is right for me?

Do you offer a free trial?

The Starter plan acts as a free entry point with no time limit. While we ask for a credit card to activate the account, you’ll only be charged if your usage exceeds the 50 included SMS credits. You can use it to get acquainted with our features and see how we can benefit your business before deciding to upgrade.

2. Billing and account management

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard and American Express. We also offer invoice-based payments under our Custom plan.

Are there any setup fees or hidden costs?

There are no setup fees or hidden costs for standard subscription plans. Special features or integrations may attract a one-time setup fee, which will be clearly disclosed.

What happens if I exceed my plan's usage limits (eg. number of messages sent)?

You'll have the option to upgrade, purchase additional capacity, or incur overage fees.

Can I upgrade or downgrade plans at any time? And how does that work?

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade plans at any time directly from the Manage Plan section when you're logged in. When you change plans the chosen features and inclusions become active immediately. For this reason we recommend using your included SMS credits of your current plan before switching.

What is our cancellation policy?

You can cancel your subscription at any time. When you cancel, your service will continue until the end of your current billing period, and you will not be charged again. We do not offer refunds for partial use periods.

How do I access my invoices and billing history?

You can access all your invoices and review your billing history by logging into your account, clicking the User Icon (top right) and selecting "Billing" from the drop-down. All invoices and history are available for download.

FAQs

When I upgrade my subscription, when will the changes take effect?

Upgrades take effect immediately. You’ll get access to the new plan features straight away, and your billing will be adjusted from that date.

If I downgrade my plan, when will the lower rate start?

Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. You’ll keep your current plan benefits until that date, then move to the new plan and rate.

Will I get a refund if I downgrade before the end of my billing cycle?

No refund is issued for unused time when downgrading. Your current plan remains active until your next billing date, at which point the new plan begins.

How do discounts or free months from promotions work if I downgrade?

If you downgrade before completing your agreed term, any promotional discount or free month will be removed from your account and your final bill will be adjusted accordingly.

What happens to my promotional discount if I change plans before my commitment period ends?

If you received a discount based on committing to a term (e.g. annual plan), downgrading early means you forfeit the discount and your refund or credit will be recalculated using the standard rate.

Does Kudosity offer annual subscriptions?

Yes. You can choose between monthly or annual billing. Annual plans may include a discount compared to paying monthly.

If I pay annually and then downgrade, how will my refund be calculated?

Your refund will be based on the unused portion of your subscription at the standard monthly rate, with any applicable discounts removed.

Will I lose my annual subscription discount if I downgrade early?

Yes. The discount applies only if you complete the full 12-month term. If you downgrade before then, we’ll recalculate your usage at the standard rate.

For monthly plans, can I change or cancel my subscription at any time?

Yes. Changes or cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period.

What’s the difference between changing plans mid-cycle and at renewal time?

Mid-cycle upgrades take effect immediately, while downgrades are scheduled for your next billing date.

How much notice do I need to give to cancel my subscription?

We require 30 days’ notice to cancel your subscription.

If I cancel mid-billing cycle, when will my subscription end?

Your subscription will end 30 days from the date you give notice, even if that’s after your current billing date.

Will I be charged for an extra month if I cancel mid-cycle?

If your 30-day notice period extends beyond your current paid period, an additional charge will apply to cover the remaining days.

Will I receive a credit for unused time if I cancel early?

Yes, for annual plans. We’ll calculate your credit based on the unused portion of your subscription at the standard rate, with any discounts removed. Monthly plans do not receive a partial credit for unused days within a paid month.

How is the 30-day notice period applied for monthly vs annual subscriptions?

For monthly subscriptions, your service will end 30 days after your cancellation request, regardless of your billing date. For annual subscriptions, your refund is calculated from the end of your 30-day notice period.

Why does Kudosity require a notice period before cancellation?

The notice period ensures we can process your request, manage your account transition, and, if possible, help you get the most from the platform before you leave. It also allows time for you to back up or export your data, transfer settings, and ensure no important information is lost when your account is closed.

Can I continue to use the platform during my notice period?

Yes. You’ll have full access to your plan features until your subscription end date.

How will any credits be applied if I downgrade or cancel?

Credits are applied to your account for future invoices, or refunded if no future billing is scheduled, in line with our terms and conditions.

If I paid annually and cancel part way through, how is my refund calculated?

We calculate the refund based on the standard monthly rate for the time you used, deduct that from what you paid, and refund the balance.

Will my credit include any discounts I originally received?

No. Credits are based on standard rates, and any discounts are removed if you end your plan early.
